REMEMBERING CHRISTMAS CAROLING
A friend on Facebook just wrote a story entitled "THE DISAPPEARING CHRISTMAS CAROLERS" - It got me thinking back when just before Christmas our gang would meet at Pat Clements house and head out to sing with Matt leading the way. After we would go back to Pats where her mom had made food. I remember the delicious cabbage rolls. Here is what it would have looked and sounded like:

Japan
Eric Clapton and Stevie Winwood just did a huge stint in Japan going around to various cities and a 5 day evening concert in Tokyo.
They did 20 songs each night - Remember that Eric and Stevie were originally in the 1960's group Blind Faith where they sung Can't Find My Way Home AND In the Presence of The Lord. Kind of weird EH! that both songs were on the same Album - Ah well, the 60's were messed up, searching times for a ton of us. I do not remember the latter song in the 60's. I sure remember the former. Time has passed - I personally now relate to the latter song. Here they are now my age.

Maple Leaf Gardens Loblaws
On November 30th we went down to the opening of the new Loblaws at Maple Leaf Gardens. Parking underground was great and only had to spend $18.00 at Loblaws to park. The height of the main floor makes for some pretty impressive food outlets. The cheese and patisserie was most awesome. The tables to eat at are all decoupaged with Toronto stuff. We met "TWIST" an 87 year old man who was greeting all. The huge Maple Leaf (heading on the way to Joe Fresh clothes) made out of Maple Leaf Garden seats was impressive. The place was packed and I am pretty sure the people who live downtown will love this.

December 4/11
The annual Cousin Party at Cam's in Kettleby was great. There were twice as many of us this year as compared to last year (the first one) - Took a ton of pics which I am going to make into a movie and post over the holidays. Our van broke down just outside of Kettleby and we had a fun ride back with the dispatcher. The weirdest thing is that just as the van was all set on the flatbed another guy broke down right behind us. Go figure!!! Ole 'Bessie" is working great again.

CINEMAGRAPHS
CLICK: [Image - 148876] | Cinemagraphs | Know Your Meme
Cinemagraphs are partially animated photographs in which a subtle movement action occurs. The effect is produced by taking a series of continuous shot photographs or a video recording and compositing the frames into an animatedGIF file. I think most are eerie. I picked one that is not to view. I just acquired photoshop where you can create these. .
