SQUEEEEE PURCHASE TODAY
My Aunt will be 80 on Monday November 5th. Her 2 daughters are having a party on Sunday, November 4th. We were asked to make it Scottish by wearing something tartan and they will have a tree set up asking us to bring a tree decoration for Mary's 2012 tree. I am super ready to dress Clan Cameron. I got a Scottish Tartan Cape last year at Value Village AND a bag pipe liquor topper that I will put on a bottle of water. I got Mary a full tartan outfit to put on a liquor bottle but being that she does not drink I will put it on a bottle of Canadian Maple Syrup. Anyway, went out to Hallmark to find my mom a tree decoration that you can put a pic in. SCORED! AND, it even has a recording device in it for mom to give her best wishes with the pic which by the way is one of her and her sister at Mount Pleasant graveyard leaning together on the CAMERON grave. ANYWAY, lo and behold as some of you know, I really want a vintage 13 foot trailor (canned ham) to leave permanently in our backyard. WELL, there it was, a tree decoration that you put on one of the string lights. Just had to have it - cute eh?

TODAY's Project DID NOT WORK BECAUSE...
I wanted to lace my Nike's as a Star of David. Thing is, my runners have protruding metal eyelets instead of metal holes and the laces need to be thinner and flatter. Also I see that I need to have 6 plain holes going up the sides. So, will have to buy some new runners like the older Keds white. Nevertheless, I just found a site that has a ton of different ways to tie your laces and it is awesome. Here are a few pics with a link to the site after them. And NO, I will not grow up. As a matter a fact, the older I get, the younger I become. Its true ya know. I see it in my 90 year old mother.

HEARTWARMING DOGGY STORY OF THE DAY
HERO DOG
Zamboanga City, Philippines
In December, 2011, a shepherd mix (Aspin) named Kabang saved two children from a potentially fatal accident. In the process she literally had her face ripped off.Despite the grave injury, Kabang showed no signs of suffering, so her owner decided not to put her down. Kabang soon learned how to eat with her paws.
Still, her wounds weren't quite healing properly.
Enter the Internet: This month, thanks to $20,000 in online donations, Kabang is undergoing reconstructive surgery at UC-Davis. (tks Daily What)
