STUFF I SAVED TO POST
You cannot call me a Princess until you get me the stuff to make me look like a Princess is the whole jist of this video and she has it right!!!
This creation is amazing and mesmerizing
This dog getting water from the PUPPY FOUNTAIN would be fun - I have to wonder if little dogs would be able to use it. Just google if you want to buy one online.
An old church in Austria has been turned into a skateboarding venue - the artwork is amazing - colour and more colour explodes all throughout.
More 'stills' here ---- click me --- http://www.forgottothink.com/skate-church/
Youtube has 10 hour videos of people singing the same thing for 10 hours. This one kind of cracked me up - Russian singer Edward Khil

ARE YOU LEFT BRAIN OR RIGHT BRAIN
I did the brain quiz on a few online sites and everytime it comes up mostly Left Brain. Need to ponder this as I would prefer to live more right brain. I am not good at math and am trying to figure out the percentage of 10 Left and 6 Right.
Right Brain/ Left Brain Quiz - The higher of these two numbers below indicates which side of your brain has dominance in your life. Realising your right brain/left brain tendancy will help you interact with and to understand others.

IN A ROMAN OSTERIA by Carl Bloch 1866
Saw this on FB today. Sort of laughing about the comments they attached albeit they should have enclosed it in a SPEECH BUBBLE. My interest in this is the napkin on the girls head. This is what I found. I believe they are eating an ortolan bird.
QUOTE The birds are caught with nets set during their autumn migratory flight to Africa. They are then kept in covered cages or boxes. This "artificial night" causes the birds to gorge themselves on grain (usually millet seed) until they double their bulk. "Roman Emperors stabbed out ortolans’ eyes in order to make the birds think it was night, making them eat even more". The birds are then thrown into a container of Armagnac which both drowns and marinates the birds.[5]

The bird is roasted for 8 minutes and then plucked. The consumer then places the bird feet first into their mouth while holding onto the bird's head. The ortolan is then eaten whole, or without the head and the consumer spits out the larger bones. The traditional way French gourmands eat ortolans is to cover their heads and face with a large napkin or towel while consuming the bird. The purpose of the towel is debated. Some claim it is to retain the maximum aroma with the flavour as they consume the entire bird at once, others have stated "Tradition dictates that this is to shield – from God’s eyes – the shame of such a decadent and disgraceful act",[5] and others have suggested the towel hides the consumers spitting out bones.[6] This use of the towel was begun by a priest, a friend of Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin. END OF QUOTE
THE GOOD NEWS IS ortolan hunting has been BANNED as of 2007.

INNER PEACE THRU SPENDING
It snowed this morning and it should not be snowing because I bought my pansies for Easter and they have had to be inside for 3 days now due to the temperature and the snow. I needed to compensate so I went to my favourite 'Second Hand' stores in the Kingsway. I got these Softmocs for 35.00 which are going for 109.00 - scored.
I saw these beaded glasses online but I also found a DIY to do it myself on youtube. I used to bead when I lived in Calgary. I still have belts that will not fit and are going on a hat and a purse strap.
A friend sent this 1970's image of me with my fav purse - The bohemian/hippie style is all back this year. I collect it from 2nd hand stores - I found this purse a few years ago having been remade for Courage My Love in Kensington and I should have bought it (top fringed one). I sure hope the owner remakes them again.

FIRST ESTATE SALE OF THE YEAR
I was down in the basement of the estate sale and saw this image for 15.00 - An Audrey Oppel Indian Girl print. I remember seeing these up at Wasaga at the First Nation stores. I was pleased when I got home to see that the Audrey Oppel Indian Boy is going for $495.00. I knew it was worth something - now to sell it.
I got to the estate sale on the first day right when it opened. I always hit the garage and sheds for garden stuff. I found this for 20.00. Not selling as it will be put onto a stand for our garden. It is quite large. The good news is I saw on the internet that it started at an auction at $150.00 and sold for $435.00.

100 YEAR OLD BLACKBOARDS
I was fascinated by this story of a school in Oklahoma - Emerson High that was getting new blackboards and they found old ones in behind from 1917 with chalk drawings etc.
The last image intrigues me. Firstly, the 15 star of davids and A MULTIPLICATION WHEEL. Someone else on the internet wondered about the wheel as well and here is a link to how they think it works:
