THE EARLY GARDEN

I just got 150 zinnias planted and have another 40 left. The tomatoes are in. The corn is being tricky this year with Zelda the Robyn polking her head in that area looking for worms for her babies. The deck is now mostly wicker and soon I will make lime green and white gingham cushions for the wicker furniture and yellow and white gingham cushions for the adirondack. The secret place path was redone and the 3 seater swing is now back their. The front is all red and white floral this year. Here are some pics:

I just got my computer last week and have just started using it. Could not resist to wish you a wonderful day. Wish I could be like Samantha and twitch my nose and be their to share a glass of vino. Albeit, thinking of you today.

EASTER SUNDAY

Finally got to have a dinner party on our new (well, over 65 years old and was moms) dining room suite. We started with a delicious salad and fruit with maple syrup. Some had ribs, mash potatoes and peas and others had scewers of salmon and another fish (which being 60 my mind forgets)and striped zucchini with roasted potatoes. I made Pulla in the shape of a Star of David and Apple Pie.

Sometimes, I go lurking from blog to blog starting maybe with my own or CLR's. NEXT BLOG ....There sure are alot of people who have stopped blogging. I prefer to look at those that are up to date. One guy was seriously concerned today about North Korea. I saw this picture the other day ( In celebration of the Australian capital's centenary celebration, a Darth Vader hot air balloon looms over the National Library building in Canberra, Australia) and posted it to a family member over in Sweden whose boyfriend is from Canberra. Lo and behold, her and her boyfriend MATS were at the airport on their way to Canberra - Lena got back right away on FB and wrote - "Cool! We are actually at the airport in Stockholm on our way to Canberra right now! If we're lucky we might see some of the balloons in action!" - TIMELY!

When I living on Parkside Drive in High Park, I had this picture in my livingroom. It was given to me by one of my moms best friends - Ruby, and then I moved out west and I think it went to a dear friend who is no longer with us. My grandfather Fellman came from a little island in the Baltic called Vormsi, a very small island. He was born in the largest village called Hullo. I just found this pic of the girls of Hullo. Hey, CLR - reminds me of what we were supposed to wear in Calgary photo shoot.

It has been a busy, busy, busy month for us helping my 90 year old mother move to a senior residence. We are getting her diningroom suite and 2 blue velvet chairs so we painted the livingroom and have been getting rid of a ton of stuff. We move our stuff in tomorrow and then next weekend we move moms stuff to her new place. Anyway, my new camera has a Magic Frame Shot. Albeit, it takes up alot of memory to use this - hope I can get a larger memory stick.
