We got a better deal if we picked up the ring earlier. I am elated! Thanks J.T. for this most beautiful present! Shine on and Sing on YOU CRAZY DIAMOND!
Alexandra Elena - This pic is one of the most beautiful pics of our new little one. That is her mom Bonnie holding her in her arm. Suddenly, Alexandra took her hands up to her left cheek and this most beautiful pic shone forth! Another Musicianary for the O'Brien/Medina family
Here is the project so far - The last time I did this was in Calgary - 1976 - Lovin the winter embroidery project:
I saw a piece of art the other day using jewels to look like raindrops. Found a few pics online to use as examples. This will be done on the back of a jean jacket - I had one more print but it disappeared off my desktop - glad I printed it first.
My friends daughter-in-law is a Minister and on Sunday I visited her church. They really have a worship musical ministry. Great to see the grandchildren as well. My friends husband made the cross - Awwwwwwesommmme!
While December 31st Team U.S.A. vs. Canada game was amazing and everyone that was here went nuts (see below pics), last nights game was a good one but disappointing. Hope the Srs. kick butt!!!
I went today to our arts and crafts store to pick up some stuff to protect digital pics called Preserve It and they had an art table on sale for a ridiculously low price so I bought it. Best thing about this is that it is all put together and will be easy to leave in the livingroom as it stands straight up. When we were watching Grumpy Old Men, Ariel (played by Ann Margaret) painted a snow angel pic that we both really liked. I rented the movie from the library and it just came in today so we can kind of do something like it. Get the picture??? - LOL!
My friend in N. Ontario just sent me 2 disks with at least 400 pics. I chose a few to put on the blog. I had to laugh when I saw her hubby reading outside in the winter. Miss you Bean!
There are so many kids that have birthdays in December that come to our home. It has been one party after another. Lately though it is all HOCKEEEEEEEEY! The boyz all come over early to watch the games with all their own hockey equipment - You should see it downstairs with all the bags of equipment - you can hardly move. Whahoooooah ----- and then head out at midnight to go out to play hockey at our local rink till 2-3 in the morning. They then show up at our place to CHILL until around 5:30 a.m and then they all head home to sleep and then come back the next day in the evening. Mind you its quiet - Me and my hubby are glad that they come back here to chill. One of us gets up to let them all in. Mind you --- I do enjoy my afternoon sleeps. LOL! Tomorrow night, New Years Eve should be hockey heaven for alot of jocks. Team Canada is playing Team U.S.A. at 7:30 P.M. Last night during one of the Jr. Olympic games a few gals showed up for Chad and brought him a bunch of balloons for his birthday. And then it was off to play hockey. I am so glad that our community has the facilities for the boyz. Here is a pic of Chad with his birthday balloons:
I opened the front door to air out the Livingroom - Nice cold air. ------ and the puppies both jumped up to watch out the front door. They are tooooooooooo cute!
Hubby is exhausted from making the dinner. It takes 5 hours to prepare and is eaten in 15 minutes. I remember sitting around the table for hours talking and sharing. Next year - that will happen again!
Nana bought Chevalier and Babe T-Shirts. CHEVALIERS TOP SAYS "GO AHEAD AND PUT ME ON THE NAUGHTY LIST" - He suits that one. Such attitude BABES TOP SAYS "SORRY SANTA, I ATE YOUR COOKIES" - Food is his life
We leave our decorations up until Little Christmas in January. I have my computer in this room and just love to be here every year when it is decorated.
