WONDERFUL MEMORIES

I really like this animated image.  For some reason it takes me back to the early 70's walking around High Park Streets, up to Roncesvalles to the Cafe May with CLR and Lorne.

INTERESTING REFLEXOLOGY TIPS

THE GRINCH WHO STOLE CHRISTMAS

I just saw this the other day and am thinking about making him this summer and decorating like the image next year.  Too funny.  In the meantime, we will put the 9 Vintage Santas out front (image from last year).

CARRIE NEWCOMER - TWO TOASTS

Finally, after a very long time - a breath of fresh air comes my way.  I have been listening to classical music for quite awhile now as - well, I cannot stand all the screaming and my older soul pines for the soothing voice that once many many years ago had me almost mesmerized - that being Joni Mitchell.  BUT today while viewing some of my favourite blogs, Carrie Newcomer showed up - Her voice, like Joni's is soothing and Parker J. Palmers lyrics (actually a poem) are like the wind - angelic.  Enjoy!

"TWO TOASTS"
"To Words and How They Live Between Us…"
Praise be that this thin mark, this sound
Can form the word that takes on flesh
To enter where no flesh can go
To fill each other’s emptiness.
"To Us and How We Live Between the Words…"
And in between the sound of words
I hear your silent, sounding soul
Where One abides in solitude
Who keeps us one when speech shall go.

AND THATS THE END OF IT

The last leaf raking happened yesterday.  Snow is coming.  I also got in around 230 bulbs which I look forward to next Spring.  As the next season encroaches upon us, I for one am glad.  I guess I love all our seasons.
