LYBIA TESSALATTA (boxer crab/pom pom crab)

Never saw one of these before.  Now where is the Scarlett Heights cheerleader lyrics that someone posted....?????  On another note - Scarlett Heights could be demolished soon as it is under the 65 percent capacity.  The general consensus on the group site on Facebook is RETIREMENT community.  Lots of baby boomers need these facilities and with the plaza right across the street I too think it is the best idea.

HOMEMADE COLD AND FLU REMEDY

HOW TO MAKE EASY BAKE FLAN

BRADFORD EXCHANGE CANADA

I forgot that I had joined the Bradford Exchange on Facebook.  You can miss alot of posts on Facebook but today I saw one that they posted - a ring that I really liked as I have been wanting one for my right pinky finger.  I went to their photos on FB and found a few things that I liked.  The welcome stained glass sign is wonderful with the 10 provinces and 3 territory flowers.  So many times when they post things about Canada they forget the territories and that really ticks me off.  I do not like advertising who we are out front but would like this for our wee back porch.  In the bible, the eagle represents the intercessor - another idea for a pinky ring.  The shoes are a design by Lena Liu.  My mom has two of her prints which have secret things drawn that you have to find in them in her livingroom - she is always telling me how expensive they are and to please keep them for myself.  Pretty runners which are dedicated to that horrid disease.  The watch True North Strong and Free would be something I would like our son to have.  The heart ring - well we got married on Valentines Day.

THIS WEEKS IMAGES that have me saying 'BOOP'

A WHIRLWIND VISITATION

A selfie of me awaiting CLR to arrive at the hotel.

The kiddos - and they smiled.  Also, in my opinion - note the orb and the two lines - one for each kiddo - thats their guardian angel.

Then off to take images of Spencely Court (the Raczs'), Baleberry (the Fellmans).  A great surprise for me when I showed CLR my dad in the wall and found out that Mary, Bill and her grandparents were across the street. I now have someone else to visit - dear Mary - one of the nicest people you could ever meet and Bill - a great dad who used to like to disgust me by eating raw bacon.  Then off to Westmount Park. (lots of parties there with Andrea)  A quick visit to moms.
The last place we went to get images before dinner was Feltham. (Raczs'). The best thing about visiting all the old homesteads was.... for the most part they looked exactly the same.  That warmed the cockles of our hearts.  It was now getting dark and both of us DO NOT LIKE DRIVING at night so we made our way to Perkins which was closer to the hotel.  We both chose the pot roast with mashed potatoes and corn from the OVER 55 menu which CLR is pointing to.
Cheers Bud - its now my turn - I know that - miracles do happen and once the furnace, central air, etc. etc. are done (were old now and things need to be finished for old age) ........ Cheers back at cha.

OH MY SOUL

Today saw this quote:

Life beats down and crushes the soul and art reminds you that you have one
by Stella Adler

I found an online sketch site and let my imagination mouse the lines, I hope today if life is crushing in on you that you will free up your imagination and sing, dance, draw, play an instrument, bake or whatever it is that you love to do that you would just do it.  Voila, here is what I drew (bear from Ribbett):

I never knew this and think it is pretty neat.

The oldest village in Cornwall, England is Marazion located on the southwesterly tip of England.  Just off its coast is a small island where St. Michaels Mount is.  That is where this heavenly image was taken.

GOOD ADVICE

This music by Pat Metheny and friends is perfect as the snow comes gently down.

SHAKEY HANDS - but I like the double exposure and Chevalier with his mohawk.

LEONARD COHEN - YOU GOT ME SINGING - FROM HIS 2014 'POPULAR PROBLEMS' CD and a few other things.

My local secondhand store Sally Ann has a pretty good auction at the end of every month.  I saw an old doll and looked up what the initial bid would be and found out she is an old SWEDISH doll.  I hope she can be mine.

Today at my favourite German grocery store while I was enjoying Goulash in their tiny restaurant part of the store I looked outside and saw this license plate.  The Cats Cradle is a Jaguar auto mechanic in TDOT.  The plate goes well with it EH?

December was the end of a very long stressful year for us.  I could not wait for the season to be over.  I still have the tree up as we are now sooooooooo much more relaxed.  Got this for 15 dollars last year, a blue spruce at Goodwill but it is going back there as we will have a real one next year. Also, have to purge under the stairs and until that happens it stays up.  Also a pic of MURDOCHVILLE, our little village and my fav TDOT show on tv.

Ever since Purrcilla, who for six months was named Percival Puff because we thought she was a he, eats on the livingroom sofa table.  She is such a tubby lovable cat whom if you were ever at our home would come up to you to give you a kiss.

GUSTAV KLIMT - THE KISS with CLR

I went to the doctor today and had xrays for my left knee,  Then I picked up mom and we went to Harveys.  My temporary bridge broke while I was biting into a hamburger (it had only been in for under 2 days).  Off to the Dentist - it turns out that my dentist had made a crummy temp but had ordered a better one and lo and behold when I phoned that it had broken, the new temp bridge had just arrived.  So much for getting things done around the house today so I am resting and having fun on the computer - hee hee hee CLR

Extreme Cold Warning for Southern Ontario

A cold front passed through Southern Ontario early this morning. Very cold temperatures in the wake of this front, combined with strong northerly winds, will result in wind chill values near or below minus 30 today and into this evening.  This isn't the Yukon or Alberta - its damp TDOT.

DAVID IRVINE - of THE GNARLED BRANCH - BRAMPTON ARTIST

I came across David Irvine last winter while viewing My Modern Met.  We have quite a bit of empty fence on one side of our yard and I wanted to do a little something like what he does as outdoor private art but I had to have boy with red barn as our son had 3 of those prints as a little kiddo.  I actually was able to find something similar at a garage sale at an old school chums on the Westway - it was nice to catch up and reminisce.

In the meantime, since the artist is so close to us I will be looking for him at art shows.  Today, I joined his FB page and also found a print that he had added his fun art to which I have in original form minus Spock and the yellow cab on the wall above my keyboard.

GEORGE COPELAND AULT - WHERE THE ROAD TURNS

This reminds me of driving just north of TDOT.  just north and west of TDOT.
