THATS IT FOR NOW

Well these are all the pics that I had done on a disk at Blacks - Will be back with more pics in a few weeks. Dont forget to click OLDER POSTS at bottom in case some of the new pics ended up on other page. Thanks DRAE for getting me started on this as this is the first time I have done pics from a disk. By the way, the manager at Blacks was trying to sell me a digital (I still use old fashioned camera) cause they are so cheap these days but I told him I needed a Mattress more. He laughed. Oh - and I really have to do something about that date thing that shows up on my pics. Its like I am living in 1999. (mmm 9 years ago, pre-menopause - dont want to go thru that again - very much thinner - sure would like to fit into all those size 12-14 that sit under my bed - Adam would have been 10 - no - I do not want to go thru teenager years again)

THE SOON NEW RECROOM

Ever since adam was in Grade 9 we have had the recroom filled with his friends. We got a pingpong table which is now used for Poker), fooze ball table, punching bag, computer, tv with playstation and X-Box, Bowflex workout machine, fridge and microwave. THE PLACE BECAME A REAL WRECK ROOM so this year we are fixing it all up and I am pretty excited about this - Here are pics of soon to come new chesterfield which will have a thin navyblue and white stripe cover, a white L-shape desk and low white credenza for TV all from IKEA. (Adam is now at George Brown College down by the St. Lawrence Market taking business for 3 years and then hopefully a couple of years at Ryerson.) Guess they will all be hanging out for a little while longer - OH MY NERVES. The other day there were so many of them out on our little back porch that there was no room for Adam, I mentioned that to him and he immediately locked the screen door and went downstairs - then they all tryed to get in and I told them that they did not even leave a seat for my BABY BOY and they all proceeded to yell HELL NO - WE WONT GO - LOL.

LORNE B. FELLMAN

Here is a picture of my nephew Kyle, his wife Ari and their little one Lorne at his baptism. Lorne was named after my dad and much to our surprise his middle name is also a B. (Brandon) like my dads whose full name was Lorne Benhardt Fellman. This little one is going places. I also send congradulations to Kyle, Ari and Lorne on their new arrival in April or May of 2009.

BEAUTIFUL PERSON BEAUTIFUL MORNING GLORIES

Jellybean has been telling me about these morning glories that she grew and how the neighbours have been in awe of them. I finally got over there to see them but I was just 1 day late as there was a whole other WING to the right which fell over with the weight. It truly looked like an angel before the one wing fell over. Nevertheless, they are something to behold.

THE GATHERING

A great night was held at Sharons place in August with a bunch of old (we are getting up there) girlfriends who all used to attend Alderwood United Church. Everyone brought food, laughs, great conversation and the evening was stupendous.

YELLOWKNIFE TEA COZY

This is a picture of my friend Rosa holding the Tea Cozy that she purchased when up visiting her daughter and son-in-law up in Yellowknife, North West Territory. This tea cozy is fabulous with lots of interesting details very much like Rosa herself, fabulous with lots of interesting details - LOL. ((great Aqua wool, leather mitts, real fur on mitts and around hood, etc. - click on picture to see tea cozy larger)

THIS IS WHAT I KNOW

When I used to live out in Victoria, DOTMOT lived in various places as did I but eventually she got a place out by Sydney, Vancouver Island. Dotmot was into health foods. Made the best Tofu burgers. and......... had laying hens which I, being from Toronto would call CHICKENS - WHATEVER. So now dotmot has these laying hens which are still CHICKENS TO ME - if anybody has the proper whatever about this please let me know. So dotmot has been sending me all these pics of Jack the Cat and the (well you know) laying hens or chickens or whatever so this blog is dedicated to DOTMOT and the GIRLS.

NAMESAKE

This post is dedicated to my cousin Marilyn Parkinson who arrived in TDOT last week with friend Heather. We had not after all these years met each other - yet, here is my namesake Marilyn ----and, Heather who had travelled from Windsor, Ontario for at least five hours to be met at my moms place with an excited bunch. Must excuse us for not letting you rest when you entered Widdicome Hill. Nevertheless, we spent a quick time together with me, AS USUAL, pontificating to them ALL ABOUT MEEEEE. Wished we would have had more time to exchange stories but such was the day as they were off to WONDERFUL Aunt Maryies place - which by the way is one of my favourite places to visit up in Victoria Harbour. One of the things that I remember talking about that day was Marilyn and Heather leaving their precious puppies with a caregiver. Yikes - I sure related to that as I have NEVER left my flock - 4 cats, 2 very ANAL shia-tzus with anyone - Hope all went well with the caregiver - By the way Marilyn and Heather - still suffering from scratching - got the Benydryl - Jimmy last night just held the eldest puppy and gave him mucho love and that seemed to work more than any medication. Ahhhhhhh, our animal kids eh. - Anyway, while we do not see each other much the world wide web is awesome for keeping in touch. Send me your thoughts and pics and PLEASE keep in touch. - Here is a pic of from left to right of namesake - Marilyn - Steve - Stacy ( hope I remembered the name right) - Mom and Aunt Mary up in Victoria Harbour .

More WONDERFUL Stained Glass Nan-sea

Here is the newest creation from my bud out thar in Gaspe - Ok, so lets get real - On the outside of this creation are EIGHT uplifted hands - 2008 - Eight means new beginnings. Beside the eights are diamonds. Any ideas on those beside the fact that diamonds are a girls best friend. LOL. In the centre are two grape bunches - and, the whole creation is in the form of a circle - We have come full circle. Thank you Nan-sea for this most beautiful prophetic work of art - and thanks for allowing me to post on my blog. Loving you chum.
