I JUST EXPERIENCED MY FIRST EARTHQUAKE EVER!

We got back to moms after shopping at 1:35 p.m. and I was sitting cutting out her birthday pics for her on her chesterfield and she was on the chair and there was an earthquake. The chesterfield was moving and trembling, as was her chair and the plants were all shaking. Mom was so kewl, she just said - Its just an earthquake (its just an earthquake - OMG!!!) and after the chesterfied and chair stopped moving we noticed that the plant that Rick and Carol gave her for her birthday was still shaking. I remember feeling oozy and disoriented.

Tonight a big storm is coming, they are calling for possible tornadoes, hail and 20-30 ml. of rain and at some places winds up to 100.

The epicentre was 60 km. north of Ottawa (Val des Bois which means Valley of Wood) but Ottawa really felt it. 5.0 is what earthquake watch has reported.

The city of Toronto is hosting the World leaders this weekend for the G20 and the cops are absolutely everywhere. Toronto is a gridlock in the city centre.

We sure live in interesting times!

P.S. There is already a T-Shirt out - I SURVIVED THE 2010 EARTHQUAKE with a pic of TDOT in the background - Cheesh!
