'IT TAKES SOME NEW SNOW TO GET RID OF THE OLD.' - DOUGLASTOWN 2009

While most of us this Easter Sunday are enjoying although chilly Easter weather, some in Canada are experiencing another weather SITUATION! My bud just got back from the U.S. to this weather in Douglastown, Quebec:

Here's one that Nance took 5 minutes ago from her back door

This next pic is a cove along the St. Lawrence River just after a town called Rimouski (about 4 hours from Montréal).
Nance loved to see such wild water again!!! Very exciting. She loved the smells. It's sure felt great to be home again- said Nansea.

This one is of a lake called L'Anse Pleureuse which is located in a short cut that Nance takes through the Appellation Mts.

This pic shows some seagulls chillin' along the shore. The St. Lawrence River is salt water which flows out to the Gulf of St. Lawrence, which then becomes the Atlantic. Douglastown is nestled along the Bay Of Chaleur.

As Nanseas great Aunt used to say, 'It takes some new snow to get rid of the old.' And she was never wrong!
