REMEMBERING 1971 - KEITH EMERSON

Just found out that Keith Emerson of EMERSON, LAKE AND PALMER commited suicide at his home on Thursday, March 10th evening.  RIP.   They were one of my favourite bands in the early 70's.  A group of us (Carol, Kenny, Nuge and others that I forget) went to see them on Thursday, August 12, 1971 at Stanley Park Stadium located on King Street.
 setlist:

1: the barbarian

3: tarkus
4: knife edge

ENCORE - 6: A Time and a Place

Keith Emerson- keyboards (lots of them)  Keith was a MOOG master

Greg Lake- bass and vocals
Carl Palmer- drums and percussion

some from this Album. their first one

Favourite song on this album is LUCKY MAN

But my current favourite song is JERUSALEM which is currently being reviewed to be Englands  anthem for their Sports teams.  I also have the music for this song sitting on my keyboard to learn this Spring.
