CANADA DOSN'T HAVE SENSE oops I MEAN CENTS

After 104 years and 35 billion pennies, The Royal Canadian Mint will stop producing the 1-cent coin this month. “It costs taxpayers a penny-and-a-half every time we make one,” Finance Minister Jim Flaherty said. The Harper government says it’s leaving it to businesses to work out for themselves how to round off cash transactions to the nearest five-cent increment.
